In this video, we head to Stockton, California to visit a true Chinese food hidden gem that’s been serving mouthwatering dishes since 1979 — Peking Restaurant! This is a spot I personally grew up eating at, and after all these years, their flavors haven’t missed a beat.

I ordered the House Chicken Combo Plate with fried rice and crispy wontons — one of my longtime favorites — and also tried their Chicken Cashew Stir Fry Combo, which hit just like I remembered: bold, savory, and satisfying.

One unique highlight? Their kimchi! Yep, this Chinese restaurant includes kimchi on the menu — and I share a bit of the backstory in the video about how that came to be.
