At the tender age of 20 Genevieve Clay - Smith won Tropfest, the world’s largest short film festival, with Be My Brother, a short film made with, for and about people with a disability. In 2009, she co-founded the not for profit organisation, Bus Stop Films, dedicated to helping people from marginalised communities learn about filmmaking. In 2010, Genevieve co-founded the creative agency Taste Creative. Through her business endeavours she is focused on helping promote social inclusion across the creative and corporate industries. For her efforts she has been recognised as the 2015 NSW Young Australian of the Year and has also been acknowledged as the winner of the 2014, Young Leader award in Westpac and Financial Review’s 100 Women of influence awards.
