On Saturday June 15th, for the first time in 12 years, 12 students graduated from Lake Manitoba School, which is now in its 3rd year as part of Manitoba First Nations School System. Last September, the community welcomed the high school students back to finish their grade 12 diploma. It’s a special occasion to be able to graduate in their home community, and Lake Manitoba First Nation and MFNSS worked hard to get the students back home.
