Acute cholangitis is a life-threatening condition, and timely diagnosis and management can be the difference between life and death. This video tutorial has discussed the diagnosis, grading, and management of acute cholangitis as per the Tokyo Guidelines- TG 18.
We have based upon a real-life case scenario of a forgotten & broken CBD stent, who presented 03 years after ERCP with no records and history available. The case discussion revolves around managing this patient who presented with mild acute cholangitis. This was a clinical dilemma & challenging case of acute cholangitis.
The VT has been designed keeping in mind the interests of medical students, young interns and surgical trainees / budding surgeons.

This video tutorial will be a reasonable basis for all students trying to decode the ABC of acute cholangitis management. The recent literature and guidelines have been discussed in detail.
