A Dander with Drennan -- Programme 1 -- Part 1

This film was selected for the Ulster American Society's "Northern Ireland Film Festival" that was held on November 7 & 8, 2008 at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia.

Ulster folklore expert and traditional musician, Willie Drennan, travels the highways and byways of Northern Ireland in search of local characters and history.

In this episode, Willie treads a well worn path from his home in Tullygarley to C2ullybackey along the banks of the beautiful River Maine. He visits Glenarm Castle, makes a stop in Gracehill Village, joins others in practicing the fife and drum, and ends his day at a private home for a traditional ceili.
