Questa canzone è stata scritta e pubblicata dagli Amici del Vento nel 1977; vuole rappresentare l'uomo e la donna di sinistra medi, attraverso molteplici esempi che oggi probabilmente gli varrebbero una denuncia per diffamazione, ma grazie al cielo quest'arte è stata prodotta quando questo paese non si era (ancora) completamente rimbecillito; senza dubbio è una canzone attuale ancora oggi, specialmente quando parla di miliardari e femministe.

Da oggi credo che condividerò e tradurrò in inglese più canzoni degli Amici del Vento e di gruppi analoghi, per il beneficio intellettuale di tutti coloro che non hanno avuto la benedizione di avere come lingua madre quella di Dante.

This song "The Ballad of the Comrade" was written and published by Amici del Vento in 1977; it seeks to represent the average men and women belonging to the political left, through several examples that today would probably earn them a report to the authorities, but thank God this piece of art was produced when this country was not completely befuddled (yet); it is surely a very actual song even today, especially when it talks about billionaires and feminists.

From now on I think I will share and translate into English more songs from Amici del Vento and similar groups, for the intellectual benefit of all those who weren't blessed with the language of Dante.
