Aemond Targaryen | The Indignified

After season 2 of House of the Dragon, it was time to update the edit of my favorite character, Aemond Targaryen. Aemond's character is enigmatic; in the books he is much more one dimensional and cruel, yet his family loyalty is never questioned and it is not him who wounds his brother, but Rhaenys and Meleys.

Show Aemond, however, is given a more sympathetic arc, which makes his downfall all that much more impactful. He is a victim of his past, and his own inability to move past the trauma of his youth. His actions aren't justifiable, but his pain is relatable, and I think this is why we love the character.
