The Fortress in Deva is considered to be one of the most important medieval fortifications in Transylvania. It was owned by various lords, given as a gift, sold, or bombed. Everything left a mark behind. First, a defense wall, then a room, a ballroom, and it was extended with an additional floor. They wanted it to serve as a living place, not austere but luxurious.
