In this video we covered the detailed information about how we planned our trip to Gangasagar, Kapil Muni Ashram from Kolkata. Gangasagar mela is the second biggest after Kumbh Mela in hindu religion. As river Ganga ultimately meets with Bangoposagar (bengali term of Bay of Bengal) that's why this place is known as Gangasagar. Every year at the time of Makar Sankranti lakhs of hindu pilgrims gathered at Gangasagar to take the holy dip here. People believe one can attain Moksha if he can take a holy dip at Gangasagar at least once in his life. Kapil Muni Ashram is also a must visit place here.
