Donald Wilson is another dancer I hugely respect.

I saw him first on Sweden Kizomba Festival 2017, when he was doing afrohouse workshop and joining in Show Your Style class.

I had an impression of him as a great urban kiz and afrohouse dancer.

You can imagine my surprise then, when I went to his class and he was teaching traditional kizomba fundamentals on leading and following.

And for demo he picked very nice traditional kizomba song.

Wow. I really enjoyed his teaching style and exercises we were given to lead with just one arm etc..

Another big thing I took away was that even in tarraxinha - both dancers need to move. If you want lady to do specific body move - do it yourself. Let your partner copy you, don’t just lead with your arms.

He shows how to do it very well in demo, taking accents and moving together with the partner! 😃

Now Donald is another top kizomba teacher whose classes I dont want to miss!

Festival Details:

You really get what you’ve been advertised to - there was beach party, pool party and huge amount of workshops.

I was really impressed with artist lineup - Jojo & Mickaela, L’ange Noir, Donald Wilson, Enah & Carolina. And there were even shows.

If you are looking for nice vacation with kizomba and the beach, this is an awesome place to be..!
