DIR EN GREY - 濤声 [eng sub] LIVE HD

"Tōsei" used to be my favorite song for a long time, so I did my best to do it justice. The performance I chose is from the DIR EN GREY x PIERROT Androgynos Live, 2nd Day -A View Of The Acro-. "Tōsei" means "voice of the waves", and a rather uncommon kanji is used for "waves" here.
This was also requested by Ra Diabolyk, so I hope you like it.

Annotations:

"I pretended to be unaware ... of my common sense" - The word he sings where I put "I pretended to be unaware" is only "unaware", as you might have noticed. The line as a whole however means that. It's a problem I have brought up before, where the singing sometimes is not in perfect sync with the subtiles simply because of the limits of the grammar of the respective languages.
I finally found a good way to explain myself here: Sometimes I have to sacrifice perfect alignment to the singing to fully preserve the meaning of the lyrics.

"Onto your chest, my beloved" - What unavoidably gets lost here a bit is that in the original it is clear that her love for him is in the past. It's past tense, like "you who I loved" or "you who I used to love".
