jaisa ki kehte hai na ki kuch shuru krne se pehle eat something sweet so straight away we went to the most famous gulabjamun shop of the old city, "Chaturbhuj RameshChandra". This shop has been running since 5 generation and the authenticity of taste remains untouched.
Every bite of the gulabjamun was a mouthful of love, divine and some good old memory of the person that originated this shop. so it is situated right at the beginning of the old city so once you enter here start off your journey with some delicious memorable gulabjamuns that definitely remains inside the tongue of your brain until you eat it again.
after that he took us to the sarafa market which is famous for the variety of jwellery it offers to it's customer because it was early in the morning so the shops were closed majorly but in the evening theres a lot of hustle bustle in the market.
after having a look at the shops wandering through the streets we came across the first square place of the city's market, chauraha and here the people drink hot tea, read newspapers, talk, gossip and a lot more happens around the corners of this chauraha.
right now we were standing in the pungalpara moholla so there's a shop named after it which supplies freshly made ghewars, jalebis,gulabjamuns, and a lot of sweets which jodhpur is famous for.
after crossing few more houses we were officially standing inside the streets of old blue city or brahamapuri, because it's basically a place where all the brahmins live and they paint their houses blue because of a superficial reason that lord vishnu had blue colour over his body so to replicate that they paint the houses blue but scientifically it has been found that blue colour soothes out the heat and acts as a heat protectant in the land of sun.
so while crossing the lanes of indigo covered houses and stone ones too we were amazed by how these were standing still instead of being 100 years old and the variety of blues oh my god it actually painted my entire rainbow blue of a while.
After walking for a while you come to singh pol moholla and here the tigers of jodhpur welcome you by their barking sounds but don't worry they wont bother to bite you unless you they find you dangerous.
As Raghu ji told us that the entire city has been made over a cliff so it goes up and down and up and down again.
so walking through the entire city is bit of a task in itself.
but what makes things easier is the whole blue bliss and the air passing through the streets carrying old songs, few whipering sounds, sounds of the children playing, sounds of temple bells, sounds of motorbikes honking to get some space while clearing the people inside the narrow streets.
all this happening at once was overwhelming.
After a while we walked to the famous chauraha of the city, Navchowkiyan.
so this place initially had just 9 places to sit so considering that it has been named.
now when you cross this and a pair of some more streets you reach to the end point of the old city, and as the matter of fact jodhpur is full of surprises the lastbut not the least surprise is the view of mehrangarh fort from right under the hot sun glistening like a gem.
The two most end elements of the city are
Padam Sagar:- water supply for the city and here they used persian wheels to carry the water and clip bukets were tied to supply the water to the targeted area.
Rani Sagar:- Water supply for the fort and here they used persian wheels to carry the water and clip bukets were tied to supply the water to the targeted area.

and ending our tour we finally reach to the back gate of the mehrangarh..
