How to fix the Streamlabs OBS, Failed to connect to the streaming Server

Try this first: Update March 2020: Streamlabs must have broken something to cause this error again as the views for this vod have gone crazy in the last 48 hrs. Someone said, "changing my output settings, and that fixed it." in a comment. New comment to try first, "changed it to performance from quality on video output". Maybe try that or I've also posted the tech support discord in the comments. I'll favorite the comment that said the output setting change fixed it.

Update Sept: 2018, some other new issues may be effecting this that I have not seen. Try reaching out to their support here:   / discord  

Press start, type in: %appdata%

Look for the "slobs-client" folder

Delete the "cache" folder
