Training a clipped bird to free fly isn’t easy, but this is the most rewarding thing we have done. Mia the Macaw’s Free Flight journey is by no means a tutorial on parrot free flying or a how to free flight train your bird video. Many points on what this takes were missed out for the sake of a shorter video. If you watch this and try repeat these steps and throw your bird into a field, you will most probably loose them. Most methods shown on this video, like flying on a line/harness and flying in small parks with distractions are strongly advised against in the world of free flight training and is not recommended.
