18 Wheeler Semi Trucks & Trailers on Slot Tracks: These Big Rig Semi Trucks & Trailers (Auto World) on Slot Car Track running on Model Railroad Layout. Triple fun with Model Railroad & Slot Cars HO Racing Layout and making movies: HO Scale Trains in video: Amtrak HO scale General Electric Diesel locomotives AMD 103 Athearn) and B32-8 (Walthers) and eight Amtrak Walthers passenger cars. The semi-trucks were fun to run around the track, they mostly stayed on the track but they have to slow on curves. The trailers also swayed and bumped and even tipped on curves. The Parma controllers allowed trucks to be slow through the curves and also sprint on straightaways. This was a very informal "race" or road rally or playing around. Also, after the race, the white trailer was discovered to have the wide guide pin and black trailer (winner) had the narrow pin. Video is not at all in order or continuous, the camera was moved around to eight or more view angles and the clips were edited and intermingled. Canon camera on tripod and a GoPro camera were used. The views from the train with slot vehicles passing by were done with on board GoPro camera, other shots were from canon camera on tripod. Also, 4X8 blue styrofoam sheets are moved around to screen out basement stuff especially during on board train video. Postproduction also involves masking, screening, and framing. So, in addition to slot cars and model railroad fun, video narrative production has become an additional hobby. That has been my intention to make videos without distractions, such as light fixtures, ceiling, windows, furnace, water heater, basement stuff and giant people appearing and speaking in videos. Better lighting is needed. Maybe better cameras.
