How cut flowers for drying and make a dried flower wreath

Описание к видео How cut flowers for drying and make a dried flower wreath

Join flower farmer and florist Georgie Newbery of Common Farm Flowers between fashionable Bruton and up-and-coming Wincanton in sunny Somerset (hardiness zone 8) as she harvests flowers for drying late July 2023. With lots in the garden, some grown especially for drying (whoops she forgot the scabiosa ping pong!) and some being dried opportunistically (see the gorgeous seed heads of the Chinese forget me not) there's lots to bring indoors and hang from the rafters.

With top tips for keeping colour and avoiding rot Georgie shows you how she hangs her bunches to dry and then creates a gorgeous wreath with some of the material she's cut showing you how you might use your dried materials yourself.
