Kiser Lake State Park - Another Ohio state park in the books, #32 for us. May 2024, Episode 60.

Our short visit to Kiser Lake State Park in Saint Paris, Ohio, May 27--29, 2024. We had planned to stay here for 3 nights, but decided to leave after 2 nights and extend our stay at the next campground we were headed to. That is one of the nice things about weekday camping, since there are usually many vacant sites at most campgrounds on a typical Wednesday.

We had been wanting to visit Kiser Lake for the last three seasons, and finally made it there! We were looking forward to kayaking in that beautiful lake, especially since motors are not permitted, which makes it really peaceful and perfect for kayak fishing! Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate, and we never made it out on the water as it was quite cold and very windy. Oh well - maybe next time. We still enjoyed fishing from the shore, riding our e-bikes around, and admiring the sunsets over the lake.

We're a little behind on our videos, with two more after this that we have already camped at and two more campgrounds we're going to next week, so bear with us as we roll these out over the next few weeks.
