On this episode of Trout Towns, were in Boiling Springs Pennsylvania - your homebase for fly fishing the world renowned Yellow Breeches Creek and the other varied waters in the Cumberland Valley region.

Our first stop on this trip will be to the Yellow Breeches - this 50+ mile long limestone spring influenced wild and stocked low gradient trout stream is the premiere must visit fly fishing destination in south central Pennsylvania.

We’ll then explore one of the few Cumberland Valley freestone streams with naturally reproducing brown and brook trout - all surrounded by 10’s of thousands of acres of state forest and other public lands.

While in town, we’ll explore Boiling Springs rich historical past - dating back to the mid-18th century, this town was well known for iron production, utilizing the extensive springs which were later used to make Boiling Springs a destination resort community in the late 19th century.

We’ll also highlight some of Boiling Springs well preserved historic architecture. With styles ranging from Late Victorian and Federal, this small town punches well above its weight with respect to aesthetic beauty.
