Sansui G 7500 - Repairing Fried Parts - Replacing Outputs and New DIY Stabistors

This is a receiver that my cousin acquired at a reasonable price. The amplifier section was burned up and badly damaged. After rebuilding the amplifier/power supply board, I decided to try a "DIY" stabistor design. In addition, I replaced the Sanken "LAPT" transistors (similar to those ring emitter transistors in the Pioneer gear) with standard MJ21193/MJ21194 outputs. Will this render the amplifier unlistenable and ruin the sound? Let's find out as we experiment.
