Hello and welcome back to my channel!

In this video, I will be unboxing the Nike Air Max BW Rotterdam.

Information:

Sneakerheads travel far and wide just to step foot in WOEI. Nestled neatly in the busy streets of Rotterdam where almost everyone owns a bicycle (or two), Woei Tjin’s boutique has made a big name for itself across the worldwide footwear scene. With that said, one particular sneaker stands out amongst the crowd for Woei, and that’s the Air Max BW. “When I started collecting in the early 2000s, it changed my life. I was addicted. I was an Air Max collector and I bought every single shoe I wanted. And also, it helped me start my shop.”

2021 marks 30 years since the Big Window made its debut, and the Air Max BW Rotterdam showcases some of the European subcultures that have embraced the silhouette over the past three decades. Arriving in a high-contrast green and black colour palette that’s inspired by the flag of Rotterdam, a complementary Swoosh shoots across the lateral and medial sidewalls for that truly iconic look.

“Rotterdam” is written around the heel, while the tongue is emblazoned with “220 BPM” - a nod to the gabber scene that influenced London’s grime genre. Literally tying it all together are a pair of flat laces that are decorated with “1991” and “2021” on the dubraes.

In the autumn of 1991, Nike released two pinnacle Air Max products: the Air 180 and the Air Max BW. Following in the footsteps of the Air Max 90, the BW showcased bold, visible Air—but the style broke new ground by creating a wider viewing window into the technology, resulting in the silhouette's abbreviated moniker (BW stands for "Big Window").

Enjoy!
