Taken as part of the 'West Face Direct' route as per the Garry Smith guidebook (Y Gully and then Notch Arete)

An enjoyable and worthwhile route although pretty loose most of the way and the approach is a slog and a half. The scrambling was of good quality (left hand side all the way) with an adventurous rarely frequented feel and we didn't see another soul until we topped out on Notch Arete. Result.
