It looks like Avengers Hulk will be a part of the Hulk Avengers team as we learn what Avengers Infinity War has in store for the green goliath. The Incredible Hulk has returned from his interplanetary adventure in Thor: Ragnarok, and Bruce Banner will no doubt have a huge role to play in Hulk Infinity War. Hulk, then and now, has traditionally worn little more than a pair of purple pants, which isn’t much of a Hulk costume. But throughout Hulk history, The history of the Hulk and the visual evolution of the Hulk has always been more a story of colors than costumes, which is why we’re tackling the topic for Yellow Spandex.

Hulk evolution begins with the grey Hulk, later brought back as Joe Fixit grey hulk. But after the grey proved too difficult for primitive comics printing, the green goliath was finally given the color that has defined the Hulk for decades, whether it’s the savage Hulk, Professor Hulk, Planet Hulk, Amadeus Cho Hulk, She-Hulk, and more. As for the Incredible Hulk movies and Incredible Hulk TV show, where he’s been played by actors ranging from Lou Ferrigno Hulk, Eric Bana Hulk, Edward Norton Hulk, and now Mark Ruffalo Hulk, the Hulk has been brought to life from methods ranging from greasepaint to motion capture, each time improving on the depiction of the Marvel legend. The MCU has more Hulk than it can handle, but not even the Jade Giant will be tough enough to tackle Thanos alone this summer in Avengers Infinity War.
