Today we will try to add some flavor in another uncommon magic item for Dungeons & Dragons, the Gauntlets of Ogre Power.
I will roll on the four tables which are on the Dungeon Master Guide as a starting point to create an unique version of a the Gauntlets, with a bit of story.
Once this is done, I will polish the description and share it here and on dndbeyond.

Apparently made of silver, these gloves are actually made of mithral, and as such they are as soft as leather.
Nineteen saffires are encased in them, nine on the left hand glove, ten on the right.
At the whim of the wearer, the gloves can change color, taking on hues of green, brown, or black.
They infuse an inhuman strength in the wearer, actually matching the strength of an Ogre.
While underground, the wearer always knows the direction out, and the depth to which the item is.
And will always see the silver lining in the clouds. Inside the gloves, in dwarven runes, it's possible to read "Thanunri Cragmail did these, for Ualiar Arabella".

The legend says that the Arabella Elves, lead by Ualiar the Hunter, went into the caves of the Thundering Summits to help the Cragmail Dwarves against the ogres of the Berserk Wolf Kin, to an unforeseen victory.
The feats of Ualiar in fightin the Ogres so impressed the Dwarves, that they called him the Ogre Hunter, and Thanunri, the Cragmail clanmaster, crafted the gloves for Ualiar, to celebrate the event.
From there on, the gloves were known as the Gloves of the Ogre Hunter.
