Beautiful FJ43

Heading to the North East as a fun weekend driver, this well-preserved 1983 FJ43 is sure to become one of the most eye-catching trucks we’ve ever built.

It once belonged to a public utilities company in Latin America, who later sold it to an orange farmer. For four years, it transported oranges and workers throughout various plantations. Most recently, the truck was owned by a Toyota enthusiast who opted to change its original John Deere Green color to Freeborn Red.

After arriving at The FJ Company, we started a fresh nut and bolt restoration: total engine overhaul, a completely refurbished interior in saddle color vinyl, chassis and frame sandblasting and powder coating, new original emblems and lights and a new soft-top to replace the aftermarket hardtop cabin. We're doing the exterior in Heath Gray, a 5-speed transmission, front disk brakes, and much more.
