Today, we're diving into the rich and flavorful world of Kofta Curry. This traditional subcontinent dish features succulent meatballs (koftas) simmered in a creamy, spiced curry sauce. Perfect for a comforting meal, this recipe is both authentic and easy to follow, ensuring you can recreate this restaurant-style dish right at home.

👩‍🍳 Ingredients:

1. Minced meat - 700 gm.
2. Poppy seeds powder - 1 tbsp.
3. Cumin seeds - 1/2 tbsp.
4. Cloves - 5 pcs.
5. Whole black pepper -1/2 tsp.
6. Coriander seeds - 1+1/2 tbsp.
7. Chopped green chilies - 3 pcs.
8. Chopped coriander leaves - 2 tbsp.
9. All spice powder (Garam masala) - 1 tsp.
10. Chopped ginger - 2 tbsp.
11. Fried & crushed onion - 1+1/2 cup.
12. Yoghurt - 3/4 cup.
13. Salt - 3 tsp OR to taste.
14. Roasted chickpea powder - 2 tbsp.
15. Red chilies powder - 1 tbsp.
16. Kashmiri red chilies powder - 1 tsp.
17. Ginger & garlic paste - 1+1/2 tbsp.
18. Coriander powder - 1 tbsp.
19. Green cardamom - 5 pcs.
20. Cinnamon stick - 2 pcs.
21. Cooking oil - 1/2 cup.


🔪 Instructions:

1. Fry onion to golden brown color and set aside.
2. Roast whole all spices, coriander seeds and poppy seed powder.
3. Grind all to make dry ingredient mix.
4. Blend green chilies, coriander leaves, ginger, yoghurt and fried onion to make a paste.
5. Add dry ingredient mix & prepared paste to the mix.
6. Chop the mince well.
7. Make smooth meat balls / kofta with the help of the oil.
8. Add coking oil, all spices, yoghurt & meat balls in the pan.
9. Add fried and crushed onion & simmer for 5 - 10 mins.
10. Enjoy!!


🍽️ Tips and Tricks:

1. Chop the mince well to avoid cracks of the meat balls.
2. Cook on medium heat to avoid hardness of meat balls.
3. Use cooking oil while shaping the meat balls to get the smooth texture.
