Foam Roller Tutorial of My Favorite 1940s Hair Style with Criss Cross Inspired by Vintage Hair

This form roller tutorial is for is one of my go to sets. It’s very versatile, it can be turned into loads of different hairstyles, depending on how you style it.  Today I am going to set it and show you in the next video how to style it into my favorite 1940s go to every day hairstyle.  This style was put together from several areas of inspiration. I have been collecting images of true vintage, roller and pin curl sets, and also watch a lot of 1940s movies for inspiration.

With this set, I am using a classic style of foam sponge roller. I called it a partially dry set, because I use a little bit of mousse to dampen the hair, but it’s not fully wet. This set can easily be done the night before, and be dry by the next morning.

You will need:
Lotta body, wrap me, foam moose or similar 
Foam rollers of whatever size you prefer but I use about 1 inch and 1.25 inch
Rat tail comb
Clips to section hair
