Feather River Canyon: UP Gypsum Train Part 1 (4K) | May 21, 2021 | DJI Inspire 2

This video features a less than common train that runs along the Feather River Route. The gypsum train runs from Empire Nevada where it loads up and then heads West to California's Central Valley. In this video the gypsum train is heading Eastbound through the Feather River Canyon empty on its way back to Empire to refill.

When filming this train I had no idea what it was until inquiring about it later on. This train runs about once a week each way from what I understand so to catch it by chance is pretty good. It's also rare to capture an Eastbound UP train through here since the line almost sees entirely Westbound UP traffic.

Part 2 of this video will feature this train at Williams Loop farther up the line.
