રામ લખમણ જાનકી એ, તીર ગંગાને જાય જી (૨);
નાવ માંગી નીર તરવા (૨),
ગુહ બોલ્યો ગમ ખાઈ. પગ મને. ૧

’રજ તમારી કામણગારી, નાવ નારી થઈ જાય જી (૨);
તો અમારી રંક-જન ની (૨),
આજીવિકા ટળી જાય, પગ મને. ૨

જોઈ ચતુરતા ભીલ જનની, જાનકી મુસકાય જી (૨)
’અભણ કેવું યાદ રાખે (૨),
ભણેલ ભૂલી જાય !, પગ મને. ૩

’આ જગતમાં દીનદયાળુ ! ગરજ-કેવી ગણાય જી; (૨)
ઊભા રાખી આપને પછી (૨),
પગ પખાળી જાય.’ પગ મને. ૪

નાવડીમાં બાવડી ઝાલી, રામની ભીલરાય જી(૨);
પાર ઊતરી પૂછીયું ‘તમે (૨),
શું લેશો ઉતરાઈ.’ પગ મને. ૫

’નાયીની કદી નાયી લ્યે નઈ, આપણે ધંધાભાઈ જી (૨);
’કાગ’ લ્યે નહિ ખારવાની (૨),
ખારવો ઉતરાઈ.’ પગ મને. ૬
