While I don't think of these books as "junk," they're called "junk journals" since they include all kinds of recycled elements that would otherwise not be used, like receipts, cardboard from boxes and random paper scraps. This one in particular is full of things I find personally sacred and symbolic, including a peacock hair ornament, mala pendants of Shiva, Durga, Ganesha and Lakshmi, and postcards I bought while traveling India, from Hindu temples in Madurai, Rameshwaram, Tiruvannamalai, Varanasi and more. The pages are all different, some coffee dyed, some vintage and some just pretty. I hope you love this book as much as I loved making it! :)
