I asked the following question of the R3ciprocity Community “Only current PhDs and Professors Please: What was your undergrad GPA?” (n=145)

The average is 83%, or a GPA of 3.3.
less than 2.5 (below 79.5%)19%
3.0 (80%-84.5%)24%
3.5 (85%-87.4%)27%
3.75 (87.5 - 89.5%)17%
4.0 (90%+)13%

There are large differences between what people do and where they end up. Your GPA is not the best predictor of where you end up in life. I would focus on doing a good job and keep pushing forward with your research interests.
