Car Enthusiasts of the Philippines, in cooperation with the Ayala Cinemas, will present a special screening of the multi-awarded and critically-acclaimed film "ANG MGA KIDNAPER NI RONNIE LAZARO" at the Solenad Open Air Parking in Nuvali, Sta.Rosa, Laguna from November 21-27, 4 PM - 6:30 PM, and 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM as a benefit film showing to the victims of Typhoon Rolly & Typhoon Ulysses.

Dubbed as "Drive In Fund Drive" the event aims to gather funds for the victims of the two typhoons that recently struck the Philippines most especially those from Camorines, Albay, Rizal, Marikina, Isabela, and Cagayan.

Dubbed as "perhaps the funniest independent film in the Philippines ever" the film won Grand Festival Prize (Best Film) at the 1st Sineng Pambansa Film Festival of the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP)
and the Best Actor award for the Actor Ensemble of Ronnie Lazaro, Nonie Buencamino, Epy Quizon, Dwight Gaston, Soliman Cruz, Raul Morit, Hector Macaso. and Mon Lee.

It fells the story of six down-out-of-luck friends from Quiapo who decide to kidnap the country's most sought after independent actor to make an indie film of their own. Problem is. they don't know how to write and direct one.

The film has a lot of homage to 70's, 80's, and 90's memories such as action films made in those days, film actors, cinema, and popular children's game such as "teks".

Thousand of students who have seen the film during its school screenings burst into laughter. were overjoyed, and were educated after watching the film and it has inspired a new generation of filmmakers in the country today.

The film, written and directed by SIGFRIED BARROS SANCHEZ, also stars Joel Torre, Shamaine Centenera, Mercedes Cabral, Roence Santos, Ramona dela Cruz, Lourd de Veyra, Ramon Bautista, Tado Jimenez, Jun Sabayton, Bombi Plata, Ickay Eusebio, Frank Corona, and Pipo Alfad III, among others.
