*The boss inflicts charm and zombify at regular intervals and they have long ass durations. With the defensive tools water has the direct damage from the boss is basically a non-threat, but you can waste double digit turns early on to charm and kill yourself on regen effects. I use Yatima giving teamwide debuff immunity once fully ramped to circumvent this.

*Notably if this team goes full tilt immediately we push the first HP trigger turn 1, which has a charm, and slows everything to a crawl while we wait for it to wear off if it hits Yatima, so I manually play the first couple turns very slowly to let her levels ramp up first before hitting full-auto. Gabriel is also an option since she provides debuff immunity if you're looping CAs, but you lose a lot of damage and dispels.

*The boss also regularly gives herself dodge all AND damage cap buffs. If your grid is beefy the repel is generally a non-issue on a full-auto set-up but you want as many dispels as you can fit. Sometimes you will just waste multiple minutes on full-auto waiting to clear these while he levels stack up from dodging charge attacks.

*Honestly there's a long list of characters that work for this fight. Haase and Vajra are the most universal but then you've got Yatima, Gabriel, S. Shalem, H. Vikala, V. Cassius. Anyone you can find with frequent access to dispels, debuff immunity/clarities, but you only have so many party slots and it feels like you've just gotta pick a part of the fight that's gonna suck because there's a lot of opportunity cost in any given option.
