It's proving to be a tough time for the trans community ever since the Orange Man moved into The White House determined to make his rampant transphobia the law of the land. One of the few bright spots in this scenario was the appearance of activist/lawyer CHASE STRANGIO as the first openly trans lawyer to argue a case in the. US SUPREME COURT. Strangio, an activist and an ACLU Lawyer, was fighting a high-stakes legal battle to overturn Tennessee's ban on gender-affirming care for transgender youth (United States v. Skrmetti). The Court's decision is expected in June 2025.
