ASU Law hosts inaugural student-led Model Constitutional Convention

The Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University recently held its first-ever student-led Model Constitutional Convention where over 100 students from across the country gathered to debate and amend the U.S. Constitution. This pioneering event offered students a unique platform to engage in the constitutional drafting process, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration and critical thinking. Participants debated and drafted proposed amendments, gaining hands-on experience in the complexities of constitutional law and governance. The convention underscored ASU Law's commitment to innovative educational experiences, public service and the practical application of academic knowledge.
