Another one of the plentiful clawcades that are popping up throughout New York City, Anime Claw can be found in Chinatown on the world-famous Pell Street. Their storefront gives an idea of what to expect, and although it's just one long, narrow room with claw machines lining the walls, they are nailing the vibe in this place. The taiko drums and wall of plushies near the front is a great photo op. Obviously the majority of the machines are of the "pick up the plushie" variety, but there are a few that do something different, be it rolling a die and winning a prize matching the corresponding number, or picking up ping pong balls and dropping them in a marked square inside a grid. There's also a pair of Cut 2 Win style machines, as well as a Skill Fall Revolution machine that dispenses loose Pokemon cards. The selection of prizes you can trade your wins in for is pretty good as well, with a wide variety of Japanese pop culture heroes and favorites behind the front counter.
