As Americans living in Italy, we noticed a lot of differences in the houses. There are even some fun differences between German houses and Italian houses. Check out this video to see what we are talking about.
One thing that is extremely obvious is the bidet in the bathroom. Yup, they do come standard! The automatic gate, intercom, and alarm for security take some getting used to (I may or may not have set off the alarm a few times already). The oven and refrigerator are so tiny! But it is fun learning the differences. and getting to live among our kind Italian neighbors. As we try to learn the language everyone has been so welcoming and this sunlight is amazing after the winter months in overcast Germany.
