Anything For Life is a short film project, originating from a small 'Sniper' idea back in 2005. The worktitle then was Sniped, and was just under 2 pages long. The clue of the film, and the story lacked a lot, so the project was shelved for a years. In 2008 the basic idea was picked up again, and expanded on with a new and better pitch. The idea came forth after seeing a Stanley Kubrick expo a year earlier, and a rewatching of all his movies. It was expanded to a 5 page script, and production began in November 2008 with just half two half days in the parking garage. After having edited the first and last minute of the film down, the project froze again. Conflicting schedules, the search for actors, and other problems and projects intervened. In September 2009, the first "pick-ups" started, and the rest of the movie was finished step by step. Music was composed, actors where sought after, and schedules where cleared. Sometimes it was just 1 hour where there was time to shoot a scene, so it was a complex puzzle to get everything done in as few time as possible. Another issue was the search for good looking practical blood effects. In September 2010 the camera rolled for the final time. When the movie was completed in it's cut, the color correction and visual effects happened. For these a new master edit was done, this time in 720p HD. For the audio mix, almost every bit of audio was re-recorded, foley was recorded, mixed etc. The original idea was to get a complete 5.1 mix, but in the end it was decided to do it in a regular stereo mix as the primary distribution would be the web.

Anything For Life is een kortfilmproject dat uit een origineel 'sniper' kortfilm idee gegroeid is. Onder de titel 'Sniped', is het orginele project gegroeid naar een meer actievoller en dieper project. Uit liefde voor het werk van Stanley Kubrick is deze film een stijl oefening met elementen van Kubrick, zowel in het verhaal als camerabewegingen.
De opname locaties zijn ook duidelijk Hasselt, hoewel voor sommige scenes, shots en ADR opnames is beroep is gedaan op de technische vaardigheden van het 2/4 Regiment Lansiers, gelegen op Kwartier Commandant SBH Van Dooren, te Leopoldsburg, en zijn er locaties gebruikt in Kuringen, Leopoldsburg, Alken en Lanaken.
