If this year was like any other, we’d be waxing our skis and getting ready to head down to Jackson Hole, WY to welcome you to the Backcountry Academy like we have in years past. We’d spend the weekend gathered purely for our mutual love of backcountry skiing and snowboarding, learning from some of the best in their field excited to absorb every bit of the experience.

Unfortunately, this year is not like any other year. As you all know, these are unprecedented times in which we collectively face the COVID-19 virus. In response, we have chosen to adapt & evolve our events. Because the safety and well-being of all our guests is of the utmost importance, we’ve decided to move forward with the 2021 Backcountry Academy in a digital format. Join us February 8-12, 2021 for a week of inspiring speakers, films, panel discussions and more. Just because we can’t all be together physically doesn’t mean we can’t continue to learn and celebrate mountain culture in a safe and responsible way.
