Kilfenora Céilí Band in Kilfenora

The main event at the Kilfenora Trad Music Weekend was this outdoor ceili in The Square, Kilfenora, Co Clare, with the Kilfenora Ceili Band. We danced five sets, the Kilfenora (3:37), Clare Lancers (25:13), Caledonian (49:30), Connemara (1:22:46) and Plain (1:41:40), plus waltzes (1:10:02). Band leader John Lynch was presented (43:31) with a gift commemorating his more than thirty years with the band, and later John remembered past members of the band (1:36:10). The band closed the ceili with the national anthem (2:02:44). The voice of the band is flute player Gary Shannon (off-screen to the right).
