Saw one of our friends playing with kinetic sand a few days ago and fi you know me, you know i had to go home and try to make a diy, taste safe version of it at home. So, here it is!
Note
You would think this recipe will eventually become sticky, and you and your little are just creating giant sticky messes BUT, even to my surprise it was not sticky at all.. I think its something about the starch that controls the stickiness!

Taste Safe Moonsand Recipe:
-2 cups Corn/Cotato starch
-2 cups Brown sugar
-10 Tbspn of any cooking oil (we used olive)
-10 to 15 drops of coloring of choice

Instruction:
Mix all the ingredients together!
Bonus: Get an arm workout while you're mixing (alot of mixing I tell ya)....
