I’ve spent a lot of time looking for the perfect ways to keep Murpy entertained. And just to be clear — we stay away from laser pointers because I want her to actually catch her prey and feel that satisfaction. But finding a toy that actually keeps a high-energy Snowshoe busy? That's a real challenge.
Here’s the situation: Murpy is 1.5 years old, she’s smart, and she’s got that signature Snowshoe personality. Today, while I was setting up my gear, she decided she didn’t need fancy store-bought mice. She grabbed the metal ring from my tripod and claimed it as her own!
I decided to just let her have her fun and caught it all on a timelapse. It’s hilarious watching this elegant cat with white paws dragging a piece of camera equipment around the house, jumping over furniture like she’s won a gold medal. It turns out, sometimes the best gear I own is actually a cat toy in disguise.
The simplest things bring the most life to the house. Murpy doesn't need much to be happy — just a sturdy ring, some room to jump, and a little bit of mischief.
