Description - Central Spine Road (CSR) is one of the most significant road projects in Peninsular Malaysia. After completion, it will connect Kelantan and Negeri Sembilan, thus reducing the travel time between the north and south of the peninsula. The 325 km toll-free highway is built to eventually replace the former two-lane Malaysia Federal Route 8 (Gua Musang Highway) and Malaysia Federal Route 9 (Karak-Tampin Highway). The CSR comprises six building phases, also known as packages. Four of these packages, spanning over 200 kilometers, are in Pahang. There are no sections with motorcycle lanes.
