GRANBERG Alaskan Chainsaw Mill MK IV - Unboxing and Assembly

In this video, I unbox and assemble my recently purchased Granberg Alaskan Chainsaw Mill MK IV - 36". I have been waiting for this day for a long time! For the longest while, I pictured myself with a bandsaw mill but due to high costs and not enough space, it just never happened.

I'm not sure why the Alaskan Mill never crossed my mind, but a friend suggested that I try it first and the idea stuck. A few weeks later, it arrived on my doorstep and I began putting it together.

The whole process took about an hour to assemble and would have gone a lot more quickly had I just went to my garage and got a ratchet.

I purchased the 36" sawmill from Amazon and found that the price fluctuated greatly from day to day.
