Newsweek Senior Editor-at-Large Josh Hammer claims the former CIA director’s criticisms of Tulsi Gabbard is why the American people have lost trust in the intelligence community.

Former CIA director John Brennan has criticised Donald Trump for picking Tulsi Gabbard as the Director of National Intelligence.

“Are you out of your mind?” Mr Hammer told Sky News host Rita Panahi.

“It is interviews just like that that has caused the American people to lose complete trust in the intelligence community."
