In this video Heimler walks you through the next foundational document for AP Government: Federalist 10.

This document comes from a series of essays published by Alexander Hamilton, James Madison, and John Jay which argued for the ratification of the U.S. Constitution. Their arguments were over against the Anti-Federalists who argued that the new Constitution consolidated too much power in the hands of the federal government.

In Federalist 10 Madison explores one of the chief enemies of liberty: factions.
