I bought this vintage 1958 Telectro Model 556 Mono reel to reel tape recorder at a vender's mall for $19. The case was pretty well trashed, but inside I knew there lurked a tube amplifier, so I bought it anyway with an eye toward possibly making a guitar amp out of it. But some signs of life from the tape player made me reconsider parting it out. Now I'm thinking I might try to restore it. What to do...what to do...
