Think numbers are neutral? They're far from it! David Spiegelhalter, Professor of Public Understanding of Risk at University of Cambridge, lifts the lid on how we communicate numbers to gain trust, and identifies some of the worst offenders.

The Huxley Summit took place on 8 November 2016 at BAFTA in London on the theme of ‘trust in the 21st century’. The Summit was produced by the British Science Association, and provided leaders both within and beyond science, to question, debate and agree radical new ways to build trust in science and technology to advance society.
