In the Italian language there are 2 future tenses, the "futuro semplice" (future simple) and the "futuro anteriore". In this lesson we study the future simple and practice with some exercises at the end.
There 2 good news when it comes to the Italian future simple:
1) it's not really used that much in colloquial Italian so we can easily replace it with the present tense;
2) forming the Italian future simple of the regular verbs is very easy, no brainer!

We have 3 groups of the infinitive verbs:
1.-are
2.-ere
3.-ire

For the first 2 groups (-are/-ere) you replace the ending with:
-erò/-erai/-erà/-eremo/-erete/-eranno

For the 3rd group (-ire) you replace the ending with:
-irò/-irai/-irà/-iremo/-irete/-iranno

When do we use the Italian future simple (futuro semplice)?
1. Future actions/events.
2. To suppose something.
3. To express doubt/uncertainty.
4. In the concessive form.
