Today we welcomed Pastor Ben Butterworth back to Harvest Church to share what God is doing through their church plant—and to deliver a timely call to deeper surrender. This message is a wake-up to a church culture that can drift into “Christian in name,” and a fresh invitation to return to a faith that’s alive, active, and costly.

From Genesis 1, we’re reminded that God speaks light into darkness—and He can speak life into every void place in us and around us. Pastor Ben challenges us to pray dangerous prayers, to invite the Holy Spirit into the hard places, and to believe God for greater things as we wait on Him. We’re also confronted with the tension of wanting resurrection power without embracing the fellowship of Christ’s sufferings—and the reminder that God won’t violate our will, but He will respond to our “yes.”
