Kimber Rapide Dawn 1911 10mm initial review (pre-fire) Part 1

Описание к видео Kimber Rapide Dawn 1911 10mm initial review (pre-fire) Part 1

Just picked up my first 1911. I've always been shied away from 1911 due to their stigma of being finicky and unreliable. In my mind, the 1911s are the Harley Davidsons of the firearm world: overpriced, unreliable, and lacking performance when compared to competitors. However, it is a beautiful piece of art and one of the most American things I could possibly own.

This is just my initial review based on what I'm seeing upon visual inspection. I've finally given in a bought not just a 1911 but a Kimber at that. I'm rolling the dice hoping that the Rapide line will help Kimber regain the throne as one of the best production 1911. I am not affiliated with Kimber in any way or form, They definitely don't know nor care about me. This was purchased with my hard earned money. Please excuse my low tone in the video as I am trying to prevent waking the kids up.

If you have comments or suggestions, please feel free to chime in. Other notes, prior to purchasing this gun, I was in the market for a 10mm or possibly 45 ACP. Some of the other candidates were Springfield TRP (various models), Kimber Raptor II, Sig P220 Legion SA/DA, and, of course, the good old Glock 20/29.
